Magic: The Gathering...Gathering (Day 1 of 2)

Collector's Corner invited me to do sketches at their big Magic: The Gathering tournament.

Here I am working while wearing the Spongebob Squarepants T-Shirt I helped design.
I've also surrounded myself with some of my previous sketches.
(Such as Caesar, Elsa, California Raisins, Edward Scissorhands and the Power Rangers)

I understand that on your world this is a symbol.

Doctor Who Day at Collector's Corner

After two successful sketch day appearances, last month and last week, I was invited to come back to Collector's Corner to do sketches for the customers on "Doctor Who Day". At least this time more than half of the requests had to do with the actual theme. We'll see how that holds true for "Marvel Day" at Barnes & Noble this weekend.

Collector's Corner Sketch Day

On Wednesday, Collector's Corner, the local comics and game shop, hosted a Free Sketch Day for the patrons. Myself and other area artists drew various pop culture characters to promote the kickstarter campaign for the Michigan Comics Collective's new anthology book.

It was a lot of fun to meet with people and draw for them even when there was the pressure to pick up the pace. We're planning to do this next month to celebrate the 75th Batman-iversary. You'd better believe I'll be there.
