Love these photos. I am always shocked at how many times the bulbheads show up as villians in literature. I do like to see them smashed down by a hero with superpowers. It's their own damn fault thinking that someone like Conan and Thor will just stopping fighting when trapped by their tentacles. In fact NOW that you layed hands on a hero, the octopus are more than likely to get itself bashed twice as hard. Remember how Popeye would tie up the tentacles in knots. He is a sailor. Get used to spending the better part of the day trying to untie those knots.
